Tove is an Associate Director at the Weber Shandwick Brussels office. Tove has more than 10 years experience in EU public affairs and policy making including strategic policy advice and the design and implementation of successful advocacy campaigns directed towards European audiences. She is providing high-level strategic advice to companies and trade associations across a number of policy fields with a particular focus on energy and environment polices. She has worked for clients such as Exxon, StatoilHydro, the European Petroleum Industry Association, the European Domestic Heating Industry, the European Construction Industry Association and Nestlé amongst others.
Prior to joining the company, Tove worked for the European Association for Bioindustries (EuropaBio) on environmental and health communications and for the European Parliament’s Directorate General for Employment and Social Affairs. Tove started her career at the Swedish Ministry for Social Affairs focusing on national and European health policy. She graduated with a Masters in European & International politics from the University of Uppsala, Sweden and also holds a Masters in European Political Studies from the College of Europe, Belgium. Tove is multilingual and speaks a number of Scandinavian languages as well as English, French and Spanish.
